School's starting, and i'm dreading.
Parents are leaving to China for mission trip, kor's away on a holiday with ryn and family, leaving joel and i at homeeeee so saddening.
Usually others would think that finally you have your own freedom and you have the whole house to yourself but nooooo.
I love my family to be around.
i hate it when my parents go overseas cus the house will feel so empty and quiet.
i hope everyone will come back soooooon i already miss them even though they're still in the next room.

I feel weird, and empty?
I need God to fill me.
I wanna go on a long holiday, to some foreign land i've never been to before, to savor breakfast in the cold, stroll along street cafes lying on fresh green grass under a tree reading a book spending time with myself taking pictures of what captures me night walks in the cool breeze and just enjoying every moment of it.

I am a happy goober today.
why why why i don't know why, not as if something special happened.
supposed to wake up at 9am to go running at botanic gardens, who knows why i woke up at 11. God knows.
so i wasted 2h of my time sleeping so i cancelled the running appointment i had with myself.

studied till the sun set and all turned pitch dark.
but of course, doing nonsensical and stupid things in between while studying.

The disappointing thing is that i have done my part.
Probably not for General Knowledge cus i hardly read the papers.
But i did my research.

Happy Birthday Kiat!

we had some mini surprise for kiat after SOM lecture ystd then headed to pizza hut for lunch (:
nice Kang yi accompanied me to get shoes cus mine was CMI and then headed to church after that for meeting.
Dinner-ed with 91ers & 92ers at shokudo then cell, and cell was fellowship so hannah and dawn brought us to MINDS cafe for food and fun!

ystd was a day filled with fun and more fun and awesome companionship and love.
Thank You God.

So it was a good start this morning, i woke up early and went back to Signature Park to gym. borrowed shaun's clubhouse card.
And while gymming i thought maybe we should make friends with the tenant whom we rented out our untit to, then i prolly can go back more often :B
had a good work out after soooooo long, pretty much awesome.

had dinner at some Jap restaurant then i went to her place.

On friday we had cell, Pastor shared her heart and all was real and motivating and encouraging. Now, the 1st week of the next 10 years has past. What is more in stored for us, God? Hear & Obey.

and today, Dearest Mummy Ruth came to attend our Youth Service!
A few of us met her for lunch at Cityhall and then headed for YC.
She was on the way back to Cambodia from Aussie so she dropped by Singapore for the weekend.
For those of you who may be curious, Mummy Ruth is the founder and the director of Love In Action (LIA) in Cambodia. Its an orphanage.
So she's like a mummy to all the kids there, sweeeeeet.
So glad to have her here and it makes me wanna go back to Cambodia more cus seeing her makes me think of the kids again :(
Mummy's leaving tomorrow and i have schoooool so i can't be at the airport !!! :(:(:(
May God bless her to have a safe trip back.

So for now it's an entirely new week to look forward to.

queue so long. got free thing only singaporeans so kia su, ya, we were one of them.
but the queue was moving rather quickly so it wasn't that bad.
headed to far east after that, was resiting shopping temptations, krit got green hair extentions done and we headed home.

okay, honestly yeah, im getting lazy to update.

Well, life for me now is different.
Cambodia has changed me kinda, i love Cambodia i love love love Cambodia.
i wanna go back and see the staff and the kids and i love the lifestyle there so simple and carefree everyone is so nice and it is so fun trying to speak their language cus it requires the nasal pinching your nose skill siting on motorbikes as our main mode of transport which i will never get to do so in singapore cus my dad forbids me to muffy the cat in the house acts like a dog but still lovely as a cat tiggy the dog at the girls' house with all the babies and children plus teenagers and justin and alyssa and mummy ruth and all the staff and everyone everyone i miss the sand on the ground my feet being black everyday the polluted air the scorching sun the billions of flies the germs on my food the not so clean water i bathe with.

Sounds like something i would complain a lot in Singapore right?
In fact, i look forward going back there.
I wouldn't mind everything else just to go back.
God left a deep impression of Cambodia in my heart, i WILL go back some day, i will.
God, lead me there once again.

My parents are going to China for missions this june, they asked me along but i couldn't cus i would be having exams then.
So i decided to go for this earlier trip and i am so glad that i did, life changing and it changed my perspective of life.
And at least i know i have brothers and sisters in Christ situated at this part of the world whom i'll meet in heaven one day.

So sad that i had to come back so soon, 2 weeks wasn't enough.
God, bring me back to Cambodia.

ANYWAY, HEART WRENCHING MATTERS ASIDE,
life now is rather different cus i shifted from toh tuck to farrer road!
uh huh, new house new life, new beginning.
what beginning? my room is considered neat again so the beginning is to maintain it this way hahahahaha.
But apparently i had tooooo many things, even though now i repacked and organised everything, there isn't enough space still to display all my nonsense and barang barang. OH WELL WHAT TO DO HAHAHAHAA.

tomorrow i will go to the playground to make some friends at the swing.

TODAY IS PACK MY ROOM DAY.
but i only cleared my cupboard the entire afternoon.
and i have a crazy load of clothes im scared.
hanging clothes itself i have more than a hundred for sure.
folded underneath is prolly more.

i am superwoman i tell you i feel good.
giving a bag of clothes to church to bring to mission fields,
and another bag to give away.

A real busy season.
has been, still is, will continue to be.

Have been going to church more frequently lately for more meetings on top of the usuals and dance practices and now there's skit rehearsals and all.
Going for mission trip to Cambodia from 23rd march to 4th april so there's mission trip meetings too.
But above all these, i find a meaning and purpose in life.
Giving God my time to serve in His kingdom is definitely worth it.

but on the other hand, i know i have neglected other things and people.

like my room, still yet to pack before i leave for Cambodia cus when im away we'll be shifting over to the new house so i got to pack before hand.
still not done completely.
in fact, i have 97% more to pack.

and friends. sorry to some who felt neglected. it's not that i dont enjoy your company and come up with excuses to either turn down your dates or to some whom i didn't even ask or contact you or stuff like this but its really cus i have no time and not whatever reason your wild mind leads you to think about.

I know time is for me to manage. but in a big group its hard to meet cus we have to agree with everyone's schedule. one to ones for certain ppl you know who you are kexxy feli blablabla i love you all and miss you all equally but im most of the time free only in the morning and i'd prolly be tired and would wanna sleep in cus i reach home late after meetings. once in awhile i guess its fine.

but in any case im free, it doesn't mean i can go out. i have to spare a thought for my parents. It's my holidays and i go out every single day doesn't sound right too. I myself would love to spend some time at home just to relax myself or spend time with my parents. For church they understand because it is for God's glory and we're aligned in one spirit. So of course, church would be priority besides school.

why im explaining myself is because some might feel something in their own hearts which i can feel its a lil not right. so just to clarify.

anyway today was another long day.
reached church at 830am for Cambodia mission trip fund raising.
Sold food to raise funds.
missed JYC today cus the team only has 4 of us but so blessed by so many others who helped out (:
left early for worship prac.
During service was Uncle Sam Phun preached and it was really impactful.
about setting priorities.
and i always feel motivated when he share about the testimonies of many ppl.
Definitely, God was present.
there was supposed to be jamming trainees' meeting after service but postponed so there was only missions meeting.
after missions meeting there was yr 91 & 92 dinner.
We dinnered at Fish & Co glass house!
hahahahaha sorry all for waiting and thanks because i was the last one they were waiting for.
i was having meeting which supposed to end at 630 but only ended at like.. slightly after 7pm?
luckily a few guys went ahead to reserve tables 1st.
about 10 of us were about to make it,
it was definitely good fellowship with one another.

Uncle Steven was nice to send all the girls home since he was picking bea up, plus aaron hahaha. while the rest of the guys bused home.

UBER SLEEEEEPY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH SLEEP FOR THE WEEK I MANAGED TO WITHSTAND ALL THESE SINCE THE EXAMS AND FINALLY THIS WEEK I FELL SICK JUST FOR ONE NIGHT I HAD FEVER AND SLIGHT THE NEXT MORNING BUT I WAS STRONG AND HEALTHY WITHIN THE 2ND DAY.
i think my immunity has built up over the years.

oh yahhhhh we had girls cell at dawn's place her house is uber coooooool you can hardly find it in Singapore now.

general update.
friday came back from van's place then headed for cell.
saturday was ministry leaders' meeting in church from lik 3plus to 10pm.
today combined service, Kum Yan's 91st anniversary.
had thai food for lunch with family then back to church while parents went for appointment.
they were playing ball, ben popped his shoulder again :( uncle kevin drove him to hospital.
started raining so everyone started playing fooseball and pool in the hangout room.
then after a while left church and went to meet kiat, dee and kang yi in town.
watched Marley and me.
so sad so sad i cried so touching.
good show.

and tomorrow is AWESOME day.

GUITAR HERO WORLD TOURED WITH VAN, KANG YI AND JACK ALL NIGHT LONG.
okay, not exactly all night long.
we went to van's place last night and rocked the house down. LOL
I SAW LOVELY JEANETTE WEEHEE I LOVE HER TO THE MAX.
so yah, 4 of us in the room just play and play and play until we seh.
then stopped playing at about 3am?
laid on the bed and watched retarded long time ago channel 8 dramas.
then we fell asleep.
4 on the bed. kang yi was the 1st one off the bed. apparently Jack was the cause so kangyi ended up with van's big toy on the floor.
so it was just 3 of us left having all the space in the world. LOL
woke up at about 12plus then played another set of gh then went out to lunch and headed home.
wanted to go midnight swimming but it didn't happen.
wanted to sun tan in the morning with van but it didn't happen either we totally slept right through.
but it was an awesome time we had :D

oh and i actually went to borrow a wii controller from this girl whom i do not know.
cus van was short of 1 so i was asking around from my neighbours.
then sherman said this girl has so he just gave me her number and i contacted her, took a bus down to her house and, yes i got it. HAHAHAHA
she's so nice please, she doesn't even know me and she entrusted it to me.

So after POA paper today, everyone was so so so sleepy and it didn't feel like exams were over.
Some were moody some were frustrated some were just plain zonked out.
Either we slept for less than 3h or some even, ZERO hours.
YA, some ppl didn't even sleep.
So the end of exams was more of a, 'phew, finally' instead of a 'hurray it's party time!'
BUT WE STILL GATHERED OURSELVES AND HEADED DOWN TO TOWN.
we went to Cine for some Jap food newly opened branch ah some place la.
then wanted to play Rock legends but the room was unavailable.
so we bus-ed to The Cathay to play Guitar Hero. did we play world tour?
I DONT KNOW I FIRST TIME PLAYING TODAY QUITE COOL LA.
when 1st started like, a bit stupid la. like, playing real stuff in a real band the sound effect and everything way cooler cus its really the skills.
then it felt like i was pressing some buttons on a toy (for the guitar)
BUT AH, PLAY THAT FOR A WHILE MORE THEN GOT KICK. EVERYONE HIGH TOGETHER SING LOUD LOUD SIAO SIAO THEN FUN.
but we booked for an hour only.
then headed to B&Js!! finally got to eat my yum yum craving.

Awesome news!!
Dad and kor were talking online recently and kor told dad that the hotel he is working with now, Shangri-la hotel, offered him a permanent job there cus of his good performance and work attitude! (he's there for an attachment for those who do not know)
but kor couldn't accept the offer cus he has to come back for army.
so he was told to keep in touch with the director there so in any case when he's done with whatever business he has when he comes back to singapore, to contact the director of Shangri-la in HK.
2ndly, kor was informed by his teacher from NP Tourism to prepare an interview cus he was chosen to be the most outstanding tourism student in Ngee Ann? awesome!
and up to date, he received letters of commendation from guests and one of them was the VVIP from DELL company!
i think kor's really doing really well even though it was just a 6 months internship.
so proud of him and he's coming back realllly reallly soon!
euhhmm, 2nd March!! :D yes, 3 more weeks! :D missss kor to the max.

For my life now, it would just be studying and studying and studying, of course not forgetting QT.

8TH FEB- HAPPY BIRTHDAY XUEYING!! <3

AWESOME KICKING RETREAT OVER THE WEEKEND.
retreat started on friday night. but i headed down to pasir ris only on sat morning.
we had a great time of sharing. and word was impactful.
glad we had the sharing session cus everyone's sharing motivated me even more to be a good leader, to be someone to guide my sheep with love and pure joy.
hmm, sharing session lasted for about 5h?
yes my butt did hurt even though i was on the bed!!! haha
then prepared for the bbq, marination and all then we all headed out to play!
we had 8 free tickets to escape. so we decided to go and just pay the remaining cost among ourselves. but guess what escape was a total disappointment.
wait, escape itself is not entertaining to begin with.
but, the nicer rides were all closed.
so we spent our time walking around escape. -.- zzz right!
but okay la a few of us went to the haunted house and sat the yakult ride. lol yah, thats all.
but anyway, it was the company that was what i cherish so so much.
so then headed back to the chalet and prepared for bbq!
good food and good fellowship.
some left and went home, however,
Lynn, grace, nicole, tany, william, ivan, chao, ben, matt and i stayed and we had an awesome awesome time playing the circle of death (if i didn't get it wrong).
it was uber fun! but torturing cus we had to drink so much so much water
and we cant go to the toilet unless we managed to draw the 'toilet' card which is the king card. haha. but so fun so funny so lovely. hahahah
so then headed to bed by 12plus cus we had to wake up early to head to church for JYC service!
so all headed back in the church van the next morning some headed to waterloo for breakfast then jyc on sunday was small grp time.
our group combined with grace's group and we played taboo!
didn't stay for YC that day cus had to go to feli's place for granny's bday lunch..
then did a lil work there then went for her bday dinenr at some restaurant.

but oh well, hope all goes well still.
school tmr just for poa and no more school!!
can finally stay home and study till i drop for upcoming exams.
i really gotta do well to pull up my GPA. rawr!!

Today was presentation day!!
had macro and dss presentation and it was awesome.
iac presentation soooooon. i cant wait for it to be over.
then next monday our last test (DSS)
then then then.....FINAL EXAMS YAWHOOO.
THEN THEN THEN... THE BEST PART COMES NEXT, holidayeesszzz :D

today we had a longer break between lesssons so Daphne, Kiat, Joash, Kang yi and i went for campus run!
so random but yeah we did. had a good time even though my cramps kinda acted up but i survived cus it wasnt the serious case.
had a quick chopchop shower and rushed to class for presentation. hahahah.

today i did 2 stupid things.
1) i wanted to test if the shaver was sharp. obviously it was thus i cut my finger. it now has 3 flaps of skin cus there are 3 blades.
2) i almost threw a plate of fruits in the bin when i was supposed to put it in the fridge. lucky my reflexes were fast enough to stop my retarded spasm hands from throwing it in the bin.

oh, rmb about my valentines' date with daddy?
he asked me for my ring size cus he's gonna get me a ring.
its some focus on the family thing.

so yes, daddy's bringing me for high tea.
and he's probably gonna propose to me to be his daughter once again. LOL.

okay, on a more serious note,
had jyc leaders' meeting tonight and we've more or less come to a finalisation for our plan for the retreat. i cant wait!
but i STILL feel guilty going for it cus of the amount of workload i have plus exams are coming and the worst thing is that i have a test on monday.
oh God please take away the guilt cus i believe there's more for in store for me during the retreat.
and managed to pray for the individuals in our small groups and it was really a good time.

and i guess i can finally sleep in tomorrow.
not going for the lecture at 9am.
but going to school at 2pm instead for POA tuition from Jack's brother.
so nice of him to always take time off to give us tuition before our exams even though he's studying in the university too. and i usually learn a lot a lot from him!

hopefully by tmr would finish up the entire IAC project. and on friday we can all just relax and give our final presentation. i promise to shake my legs after that.

1st stop today was Yu Xi's place but he wasn't at home!
why? because his mum asked him to go buy cake then he go buy until so long that we didn't get to see him so we left.
and on the way out we finally saw him!

and yutian is so cute. he's still as chubby as before but definitely a more sensible boy now with eloquent speech.

it was a super old type of house but they renovated it till it was new and nice inside.

initial plan was to go hospital to visit aunty jolene cus she gave birth last night but she was too tired thus we did not go down.

there wasn't 8am class today!
so school started at 10am and for once i was on timeeee! :D
but when i reached class at 10, there were only 2 ppl in class. zzz.
so everytime when im late im not exactly late la.
cus the whole class is late too.
class ended slightly earlier too. so i got home slightly past 12.

well oh well today was goood.
i finally gymmed after so long!
when i went to the management office to get the gym card, i saw an uber cutie.
when i was in the gym, there was another cutie!!
this little boy who was chubbily fat, he had a gym trainer!!!!
how cool can!
he must be rich so his dad hired this trainer for him since he's oversized for his age.
he kept saying he was tired cannot run anymore, cannot lift heavier weights blablabla.
i kept laughing to myself when i overheard their conversation. AHAHAHA.
the trainer was quite paiseh also cus that little boy very naughty! lol.
so had a good workout, the usual routine.
went home hoolahooped and washed up and soon, people came (:
dinnered then joel, erica and i went into kor's room to play guitar and sing and play songs and ooolala.

went to school at 12pm to meet for DSS discussion.

its a yearly thing when different groups of ppl will come to my place for CNY.

supposed to meet her last night after Dee's place but it was too late.
so yah, met her for show plus dinner
we watched the wedding game.
sigh, it was dumb.
like, quite meaningless la the show.
so then chilled out and all.
we went to some playgound,
played with dogs and cats and a little boy.

But as years go by, relatives pass away thus, we're down to 8.

then headed off for more visiting.
but 2nd day only 3 places.

know what i was sick during the week and had no time to go to the doctor's.
so i went on friday and after visiting the doctor i got well by night without even having to take medication. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.
i didn't even touch a single tablet he gave and i got well.
probably its dr koh's magical touch. 0Ooo.
anyway my ear holes are getting better yahoooo.
oh in the end mum paid for my medical fees she insisted that i must take the money from her and i feel so bad i shouldn't have allowed her to find out that i visited the doctor.
but anyway cell was awesome on friday and i enjoyed myself to the max.

saturday was off to choose our floor and wall tiles for the new place.
its all settled and im looking forward to shifting over!
then after that was to church for power hour while parents attended meeting
then headed to changi to select our sinks and taps and shower head and all
and parents are planning to get those power jet shower thing the round thing on top ya that one provided if the water pressure is high enough for that estate. awesome.
then headed to grandparents' for dinner.

as for today was the usual jyc and yc.
but today on the way to starbucks a little girl sneezed right into my face and the whatever the liquid was splattered onto my left cheek and into my left eye and jing saw the whole scene and just kept laughing ommmggg i felt so disgusted.
but i forgive you little girl for being little and ill.
so after yc, polar, lil bro and i headed to lynn's place.
chilled and met parents for dinner and we headed to uncle john kong's wake.
yes, he went home to be with the Lord last night.

Lord, i thank you for this awesome life that has impacted many.
Uncle John's determination and courage through this entire journey was tiring but he persevered on to the very last second. Watch over him in heaven and may you continue to watch over his family as well- Aunty Daphne, Noelle, Vicky and Shawn. That this family will continue to serve you faithfully in spirit and in truth and through this episode of their lives they would remember what their faithful husband and father did in his life, so that they'll continue to live the legacy.

i was strong initially till i saw the photo montage that made me break down.
He was indeed an awesome man.
Someone whose smile was so radiant and perfect that would never fail to brighten up one's day and fill your heart with warmth, that was our beloved Uncle John Kong.

Thank you God for whatever that has happened for we know this is your perfect plan. Uncle John leaving this earth may be a sad thing but on the other hand, we should celebrate his life and as he continues his eternal life in heaven, we should feel happy for he is safe with you above.

& mummy's not gonna care anymore cus she told me to go back to the place i pierced long long time ago for regular check up & i didn't listen because long long time ago it was hurting already but i waited till now when its swollen and its all too late :(
sommore, mummy's so concerned that it would get infected so she brings me to extra hygienic places to pierce like 70bucks for a pair??
& we went twice? so that's like how much??
so much for paying such a high price. Now im paying my own price.

i guess i should go to my very familiar doctor koh for consultation tomorrow after school.
i have a feeling he will scold me too :(
i hope he can give me some cream or something.

today was an exceptional day.

he 'invited' a student to leave the lecture hall cus that student was so disruptive. then the other student wasn't happy that he told his friend to leave so he left as well.

today is the jackpot.
supposed to wake up early to do some study since school started at 1pm and i didn't wanna waste my day sleeping.
however, i felt like a dead body when i heard my maid waking me up but i just didn't have the strength to respond.
i heard her, yes i did, i just didn't have the strength to even move or say something.
in the end i slept till i was almost late i woke up and rushed out and ended up being one of the earliest in class -.-
however, i had a throbbing headache the entire day, even till now.
& im down with a flu plus a lil choke at my throat.
great, how to sing on friday when i alr told timmyk tt i'd be free.
and there's so much to do.
a lot a lot.
i feel suffocated, kinda.
literally too cus of my blocked nose cum ears.
but ystd was a good breather, went back to ct for awhile watched bball and managed to see netties juniors trg. then dinnered and headed home.

took same bus, i went home while they headed to westmall.

i overslept today woops!
didn't go for law lecture oh no im so dead heard its quite tough.
as usual, the monday routine.

im totally drained out. im so tired.

i felt the great revival in the hall.
everyone's spirits were lifted.

woke up at 630am, it was still dark and it wasn't a familiar feeling.
met D @ TJBS and i was early for class for the 1st time for my friday lessons.
8am is actually late compared to when in secondary school.
but sorry, my body clock changes according to having 1pm classes like i do on wed.
9am's the most frequent timing in my timetable and i admit, i still have difficulties waking up then.
there's a serious problem with me and im serious that im serious.

but it's a used-to-it feeling alr to snooze for like most of the time half an hour or an hour or even times when i snoozed till lecture's over. but that was like maybe twice only.

im feeling the stretch.
everyone in IS class was dead tired.
the atmosphere was moody and sulky and sleepy.
so glad its the end of the week.
but not so glad because that means exams are drawing even nearer.
at least we're done with most of our presentations.
but there's still a pile of assignments waiting up.

i feel headachey and moody my eyelids weigh a ton and its dried up underneath and it feels like there are tiny people running around in my head non stop all flustered up and just creating chaos. well, what's in my head is a state of pandemonium & my **.

this whole post is not to rant my feelings and mang zhangness.
but to make myself realise that i cant complain cus all these drillings would mould me into a stronger person.

Thus, i guess i should be thankful that im feeling the stress if not paying school fees would be a waste of money.

Since school started it has been on-going.
yesterday got back blaw results and had blaw presentation.
well, satisfied enough with my results and Mrs G actually said something positive about our presentation cus usually she puts ppl down.
well im hoping or at least im guessing our presentation has finally met her standard after tolerating her stabs since last term.
so it was bmgt tutorial after that and as usual, it would be the best time of the day at school.
after that was bmgt project discussion.
dagongzu supposed to come to NP to visit us but she overslept.
hear that, it was 4pm that our classes ended and she overslept. weeeheee what an awesome sleeperrrr!
so anyway yeah, they headed to van's while i had project.
headed home for dinner and yeah, had my fair share of teeveeee, little nonya's last episode!!

ive been busy since i came back from the holiday.
today was more relaxing.
and once tomorrow comes, it'll be all the way till school starts.

i think they're planning to stay out and party all night.

met up with kor when we touched down!!
so so glad to see him again (:
he brought us for dinner at some restaurant..

in HK was more of walking around looking and stuff to buy..
but i didn't buy much.
it was my brothers who bought a lot in HK.
visited ocean park and disney land too..
it was so so only..
i've been to disney land in the US, so HK is nothing.
and ocean park's rides are not even as thrilling as thoes at genting.

but it was the company that was awesome.

oh kor's gf's family was there too.
but ryn's parents' went back to singapore on the 4th day.

so yes, it was 4 days in HK.
next was shenzhen.

was shopping and non-stop shopping.

gymmed when i woke up.
then headed to school to meet kiat and kangyi for blaw project.
kinda more or less know what we gonna do alr! :D
and we managed to film 2 out of the 3 scenes we wanted to!

so after that headed to town to meet feli!
she was watching a show with her friends and i was there early so i walked around..
guess what.
i was at NUM then looking at tops and i was asking this guy who was attending to me if there are any promotional items or discounts or anything..
(i was hoping for some year end sale or christmas special or something)
then he said no..
then so in the end after much deliberation i decided to get that top cus i quite like it.
after paying up, while he was returning me my card he told me the other outlet got more variety and he pointed towards that direction.
its like, before i paid up he didn't say anything i buy alr then he tell me the other side got more variety. zzzzz.

so anyway i headed to the other outlet and i saw joash working!
then he straight away told me he got staff discount.
i shall not state how much but yes, its a rather huge sum.
oh my i seriously got cheated to the max.
the other outlet guy made me spend before releasing me to the other shop.
but anyway, i couldn't find anything i liked there la so nvm. LOOOL.

so then feli came over to look for me then we headed to far east!
i was supposed to buy ONE pair of shoes only.
end up i got tempted to buy so many other things.
& she brought me to see the pair of shoes darren bought for her and omzzg it was so nice that i bought it too, just that its a diff design. hahahahahaha.
so i spent like more than a hundred within a few hours when im supposed to just spend on that pair of comfy flats which only cost me 20bucksss.

- possible, why not? but i do not want to.

- yessssss because of friends, they are awesome.

- it depends. i do not like to bear grudges though. it just makes my heart ache. but of course the faith and trust for that person would not be the same anymore regardless of whether i forgive.

- yes. many incidences, many circumstances. im easily satisfied and im joypill (:

- i WISH and HOPE that i would be married and about to have my first kid. YEAHHH IM NOT EMBARRASSED ABOUT THIS FACT. i brag about this to my parents. even my grandmother knows i can't wait to get married. but who knows what will happen in the near future? i might have a different set of views on marriage. who knows i'll stay single and happy all my life? :D

- God, family, friends

yesterday was receiving grandmother.
she came over to stay!
cabbed to church :(

i left early cus there was a BBQ at my place.

anyway went home cus there was early christmas celebration for daddy's agents.
plus aunt and lynn came over too.
then as for today,

headed to church for power hour then to vivo for dinner with family.

however when i got home parents were still at home!!

have been busy with activities and now's exams!
today had POA paper, nice thoughtful mum woke up to send me to school at 8am.

went back to school library on thursday night.

& i didn't go for neither cell nor training last night, stayed home and mugged all the way, all the way.

yesterday lynn came over cus she needed help in her POA project.
so we did POA tgt and we only slept at 5am in the morning.
i didn't mind doing her project for her cus anwyay, it is a form of revision for me and her group members really are leaving her in a lurch and after all she's my cousin and my heart will wrench seeing her do so much work all by herself till the wee hours of the morning ALMOST EVERYDAY.
anyway, her POA proj had to be done in excel. so it was lynn, POA and excel accompanying me through the night. oh and my little bro too.
well, lynn was hardworking to wake up at 11am to cont doing.
i slept till 12plus noon and didn't start work till late afternoon.

didn't go for club trg today.
i didn't even know if there was training.
well but at least i was at the internal carnival on saturday.
and i've got valid reason not to go for trg.

im tired. so so tired.
its 12.38am in the morning now.
its POA again and again and again.

oh, i have been dreaming a lot lately, AGAIN.
i realised i dream a lot when i study more. like use my brains more.
when im carefree everyday and not having to use much of my brains, like during holidays, i dont dream. which means i get full proper rest.
and now, when its the time for me to have FULL PROPER REST, i have to dream at night.
that means my brain cant rest well cus its too active and even when im sleeping its still active.

have been rather busy for the past few days..
it was church continuously since tuesday.
school and church and school and church and training and church and church.
i have yet to study for my exams.
well, at least i completed 1 chapter of law on the way to church today.
yesterday was steamboat event for teens cell!
a few of us were in-charge of decorating the cafe to make it look really old like in the 70s.
we were supposed to dress up according to the theme too, so i wore my grandmother's top. wahahahaha.
anyway,with the help of the old queens street props plus many other people (thank you so much to the other ppl), we managed to do up the cafe to go according to the theme (:
had trg last night so i went for trg and left early for the event.
had an awesome time (:
and because it was an outreach event, many brought their friends too!
so there were quite a few new faces :)
today was worship prac and power hour in church.
we didn't have a proper place for worship prac cus everywhere is used up.
so we had no choice but to cramp ourselves up into a room.
just 1 small room, we had 2 keyboards, guitar, bass, drums, speakers, amplifier, mixer and people and shelfs and racks and many other equipments.
it felt like we were in some not properly done up recording studio. lol.
but it was a cool experience. 'bonding' time. lol.
so then ian, joel and i headed to maternal grandparents place.
then to paternal grandmother and home sweet home.

1) Ah kiat was stressed up over school work. so sean, kiat and i headed to KAP cold storage to get his stress relief, SINGHA.

2) kangyi and khai dan joined us after that so we bought khai dan is glamourous birthday cake.

3) glamourous posing with glamourous. (oh we made him blow the candle out 17times. sean was doing the constant relighting of that pathetic candle. hahaha)

4) Sarah bought B&J's icecream with 17pocky strawberry sticks as candles during POA.

after school headed straight to church to meet parents.
the kids are having a camp this week so went to take a look.
had dinner with parents and i headed to club for training.
it was games all the way and i had no substitute and had to play every quarter until the very last quarter huili took over.
the feeling was like sprinting a marathon.
but the feeling's goooood.
my muscles are acheing means i really worked out (:
got home and headed straight for the sack.

today school starts at 1pm.
set my alarm at 830am. wanted to do my macroecons tutorial.
however i snoozed till 9plus. LOL.
and yet im still blogging now.

i regret not going for law lecture today :(
i chose to stay home to study and do tutorials just because of my laziness last night. this is one thing i regretted today :(
ended up going to school only at 12pm for law test.
whatever i studied in the morning was half past six anyway.
i seriously should have just gone for lecture.

after school ian, van and norm came over to my place.
ian and norm wanted to gym so they borrowed kor's shorts and gayed 1st in my room then in kor's room.
van and i did work outside the gym.
then off they went and i dinnered with my parents.

tomorrow DSS group wants to meet at 830am.
OHMYYYY ITS SO SUPERRR EARLY.
i really need sleep.
work is piling up my head.
talking about my head, should i consult the doctor again?
tell me it won't cost me my life.

Things are way way better now.

anyway, school today for LMS presentation and home sweet home.
spent 1h to cut both finger and toe nails.
its short and all now, not used to it after having long nails for so long.
anyway, it cus club training started already!
didn't go for cell today.
instead went for training.
ran the usual perimeter of the padang field, ball drills and played game all the way.
the soccer guys were rather rude in the beginning. NO MANNERS. hmph.
had a really nice bath and we headed to Raffles city to eat.
daddy was so nice, since he couldn't pick me up from trg, he waited in his car at the bus stop for me to pick me up so i dont have to walk home. ahahaa.
and i didn't know!! i alighted from the bus and i saw a familiar car waiting by the road (:
anyway, im all tired and acheing now.
church tomorrow yo.

ohh and yesterday,
ian, van, my cousin and i spent 200 over bucks on shopping online.
wahahaha.
i was at home concentrating on work.
then ian chua come and distract me ask me shop.
so i spent my time in front of the computer looking at stuff to buy
wahahah.
everything was so cheap but the thing i liked had to be more expensive than the rest.
and now the US exchange rate is so high plus the cost per unit is rawwrrr.
totally busted.
so in the end i cut down to ONE item only :(
but anyway, our order owned the mailing list.
the longest list amongst all! heh heh.
but not funny la.
money fly just like this.
so anyway, lynn came over to my place ystd for dinner (:
like randomly cus i was at home and she ended school early.
hahahahaha.
i love my dearest cousin.
she's always there for me and never fails to cheer me up :D
so she just came over to spend time with me and then she went back at about 10.
we literally had the whole house to ourselves cus no one was home. haha.

I was just reading the book of Job last night.
Job was a blameless and upright person.
Even though God took everything away from him, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

I will not blame God for anything that happened.

last night, what a thrilling night.
what i anticipated that would happen even haunted me in my dreams.
today was off to school unwillingly with low-spirits, clinging onto God like a desperate kid.
pulse was pounding, heart was racing.
met the heart warmer kang yi at cheers and he was nice enough to calm me down to assure me that everything would be okay.
All seemed smooth and Macroecons sailed in nicely to go along with the flow.

then, the storm came. & blew everything over.
it was a daunting experience, an experience i never want to experience again.
never, please God, never.

DSS at ourspace with ian, van and norman.
gave up PBL and left at about 7plus.
got home by 8. had dinner and started work again.
im about, done.

every second, my heart is racing.
it has been a really tiring day.
physically, and emotionally.
God, grant me a brand new day tomorrow.
how i wished nothing ever happened, how i wished it was yesterday.

this was the earlier part of yesterday.
it was almost perfect.

till after 3 of us made 3 wishes...
everything went bad.

God, save me.

and yesssss, accomplishment.
just completed Macroecons pair assignment with kiat within 2h.
and last night i slept at 3am cus i was doing nonsensical LMS. zzz.
but at least i managed to post my final submission already which is supposed to be due on sunday 2359!
so ive done what i have to, so relax joanne (:

hello all its been awhile (:
generally, life for me has been awesome, kinda?
busy with school work and outings and chilling out with friends and all.
fufilled life.
but then again, what is life without God?
meaningless.
it was God who brought me through the entire week.
its been tiring for me for the past week.
staying up late till the wee hours in the morning to complete tutorials and assignments because i wanted to accomplish other commitments as the same time.
having little rest and dragging myself out of bed daily and rushing for classes and cab fares sometimes hitting 10 when my place is only like 5-10min away from school and squeezing onto early morning buses with fellow schoolmates all irritated by sardine packed buses literally body against body, body against bus doors. what an early morning treatment we give each other everyday while all is still sleepy, some dreamy and worst, grouchy.
nevertheless, life still goes on as a proud Ngee Ann Business student who believes that all this is part of growing along with the society because God says so. i love thee.
awesome days are ahead of my enriching life and soon to be, there will be light.
stars that shine, shine for God.
step into this world of darkness and bring light into this ugly world.
be transformed, to transform.

for now, i just feel like sleeping.

oh yes, my group's video got into top 3 as i mentioned earlier like maybe a month ago. and great, the school sent the videos to the entire school's NP email for voting. what in the world did i get myself into but i dont mind on second thought cus i pray hard that 1st prize is $2000 cash and not $2000 WORTH OF YEO'S PRODUCTS, cus its organised my YEO's. but the entire population of Ngee Ann's email would consist of our body motion and screams and voices and funny retarded acting, oh my. utter embarrassment. so we better win. sigh.
unexpected outcome though. we were really lucky to be chosen out of the many, hundreds infact. well, take that as an achievement. BUT MY GROUP HAS GOT AS LOW AS A 'C' GRADE FOR CATS. and the video was the highest weightage in the entire project. no meaning right. nevermind, just hope to win and get some compassionate rewards to mourn over the 'C' grade.

it was schoool at oneeee :D
till 5!
then dinnered with ian van norm and aldrin at alumni clubhouse.
then to church for leaders meeting and chill out at KAP macs with lynn!
reached home at like, 1am.
did blaw tutorial till early morning 3am.

30 OCT, THURSDAY.
the roads were jammed up to the max.
i took 1h to get to school when i usually take 15min.
believe it or not.
so yes, i was half an hour late for lecture but nevermind.
then by right should end school by 1pm on thursdays.
but there was blaw make up tutorial from 2-4pm.
AND GUESS WHAT THE LAW TUTOR TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE LESSON.
the class waited there like fffoooooooolllssss.
but it was all cool.
we snapppppeed mannnyy photosss!
and the guys were nuts. they play game play until shout till the glass broke.
hahah kidding.

then home sweeeet home.
and Mr A cooked some nice pasta and brought to my place to have a nice dinner by the poolside!

31 OCT, FRIDAY.
school from 10am-12pm and met mum for lunch at toh yi.
then it was home for an afternoon nap then to chinatown to meet lynn!!! (:
we roamed around trying to look for the nice nice dessert stall.
and we finally found it by the help of my daddy. LOL.
had to call him to direct us. heh heh.
so went to church after that for cell.
and after cell met lynn and mr A for beancurd at Selegie.
then mr A's sis, peiling and friends joined us too!
dad called us over to the airport for ice cream but we were tooo late.
so in the end, parents headed to airport and went home while we took our time to have our beancurd.
drove peiling's friends to some mrt station then, mr A, peiling, lynn and i headed to airport!
lynn's friend nicholas met us there too.
had ice cream at swensens and headed home.
got home at like. 2plus.
was trying to make as little noise as i could when i got home but sometimes when i try too hard i make the most noise. wahaha.

1 NOV, TODAY.
mummy buggggeeedd me out of bed at 12 noon.
cus there were ppl coming to view the house.
so i headed to the gym and met this cute lil 6 yr old boy.
he sneaked in! lol.
and and, im supposed to be at many many places today.
i cant decide which to go.
thus im siting at home now. hahahaha.
what nonsense right!
but really, the reason is cus i cant make up my mind which function i should attend.
so today is stay-home-and-maybe-try-to-do-some-work day (:

so after lecture went straight home to do DSS.
omgosh, it was tedious and irritating.
i didn't go through every single page.

completed the whole assignment after a few hours by the help of VTYL!!! (:

cell was awesome.
i was glad i went.
i was really tired and i complained to my dad.
he told me to set my priorities right.
suddenly, i felt the super strong urge to go for cell,
the energy in me suddenly revived.
off i went..
today was prayer for our generation and for family.
totally totally moved me, to tears.
and it was a confirmation about setting my priorities right.
be the light in the darkness, and shine for Christ.
